We have so many trees in our yard. This means each year there are SO many leaves to rake all through fall and most of the winter too. It had gotten pretty bad over the past few weeks. We’ve been so busy out and about and just busy in general that Jamie hadn’t raked for weeks. Well, he spent a big part of the weekend raking and cleaning the yard. Here he is in front of what I think is the biggest pile of leaves he’s raked since we’ve been in our home the past 6 1/2 years! I had to get a picture of this leaf pile.
Look how tiny he is compared to this huge pile of leaves! He’s actually standing on a hill so the pile is about as tall as he is. Now, maybe he’ll get the roof blown off next week:-)!
That is sure quite the pile of leaves!
ReplyDeleteWow - that is awesome! What a lot of work.
ReplyDeletethat is one HUGE leaf pile! WOW!!!!!
ReplyDeleteyour house is just like my grandparents house in swansea!:)
That's what our leaf piles always looked like too. There is no city pick up here so we get to dispose of them ourselves. Fun fun!
ReplyDeleteHow funny!
ReplyDeleteThat is hysterical! How long did it take him to rake all of those leaves? Didn't you have an urge to jump in that pile?
ReplyDeleteOh boy!! That is a mountain of leaves, did the kids get to play in it??
ReplyDeleteThat is impressively large.
ReplyDeleteNow it's time for some sort of winter storm to blew them all back where they came from :) What a humongous pile!
ReplyDeleteI thought WE had a lot of leaves! My goodness that's a lot!
ReplyDeleteI have just come over from the blog titled, Confessions Of A Homeschooler where there was a link to your gorgeous snowman bauble ornaments. Such a sweet and festive decoration.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is one enormous pile of leaves.
I've read through some of your recent posts and thought the cakes that your daughter made were so very cute. I've also enjoyed seeing all of your books that you have been reading. I have put a few on our list of books to get.
